Are all Caraway products 100% plastic-free?

We always aim to minimize plastic use, but in some instances we can’t eliminate it entirely. We design every product intentionally, ensuring any plastic is used sparingly, only when necessary, and made without BPA, BPS, or black plastic.

Can PTFE non-stick pans release microplastics?

Yes. Traditional PTFE non-stick coatings are made from synthetic materials that can shed microplastics when scratched or worn down, just like any other plastic product.

What other steps can I take to reduce microplastics?

To reduce the presence of microplastics in your home, consider eliminating common sources of single-use plastics (e.g., cutlery, straws, water bottles, and synthetic tea bags) and everyday items like synthetic clothing, plastic baby bottles, and polyester sheets. Make the switch to non-plastic household essentials, choose natural fibers for clothing, bedding, and textiles, and invest in air and water filters to further reduce exposure.
