Care & Cleaning

  1. BEFORE BAKING: Preheat your oven to your desired temperature before adding your Bakeware. Avoid putting empty pans into the oven. Coat with flour or a light amount of oil or butter before food is added, per recipe instructions.

  2. DURING BAKING: Our Bakeware’s aluminized steel core allows for even heat distribution. For your first few uses, closely monitor your heat setting to dial in on the perfect baking temperature or oven time and adjust recipes as needed.

  3. AFTER BAKING: Allow your Bakeware to fully cool before hand washing with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Do not place your pans in the dishwasher, as this will damage the ceramic coating.

My kids and I have been on a muffin kick this past school year. My muffin tins are from when I got married 18 years ago. I have to use liners and there are scratches, etc. I knew I wanted clean bakeware that didn’t require liners. These are it!! I tipped the muffin tin over and the muffins fell right out. Love!

I made a large order of the Caraway products and received them about a week ago. The 6 cup muffin pans are great. Muffins easily released, baked evenly, and the pans were extremely easy to clean. I also ordered the following: cookie sheets, baking sheets and racks, rectangular pan, Bundt pan, and the large and mini kitchen tool sets. All bakeware is in the color of slate. I have used everything except the Bundt pan and have been extremely happy with the nonstick, even cooking, and ease of clean up on all items. I am not great at taking pictures…..but I have two….I decided to try out the cookie sheets. They are a nice size. I was almost able to bake the entire batch……except my husband ate some cookie dough and left me short a cookie. 🤣 However, the cookies turned out amazing! My husband asked if I changed the recipe. I did not, I just changed the pans. The cookies turned out perfectly chewy in the middle, with a nice mild crunchy edge. 👍❤️ Some recommendations to Caraway - jumbo muffin pans, large lasagna pan (larger then the rectangular pan I ordered), and add the mini muffin and stir fry pan in the slate color.

Do I need to use oil or butter?

Yes—just a little! While our ceramic coating lets you bake and roast with less oil than traditional pans, adding a small amount of oil or butter is essential to protect the surface and improve performance. It also extends the life of your Bakeware.

What kind of oil should I use?

Any oil or butter works, but we recommend those with a high smoke point, such as avocado or grapeseed oil. These help prevent smoking, burning, and residue that can build up on your pans. Avoid using oil sprays or cooking aerosols to preserve the coating.

Can I put my pans in the dishwasher?

Hand wash only! Dishwashers can be harsh on the non-stick surface. For best results, clean your pans with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. It’s the best way to keep them looking and performing like new.
